Tarragon essential oil, in detail
Tarragon is an aromatic plant appreciated for centuries and widely used in certain iconic sauces.
Tarragon is a plant native to Central Asia (Mongolia).
Tarragon is a perennial herbaceous plant, forming a small bush approximately 1 meter tall, blooming in May & June. It prefers cool soils, sheltered and sunny exposures.
Its name comes from the Latin dracunculus, meaning “little dragon,” referring to the shape of its winding roots.
Tarragon is harvested and distilled every year in early summer and in autumn. Its yield of essential oil is average.
Planted in the South of France with a production partner, our Tarragon benefits from all the necessary resources to ensure optimal quality of essential oil; extracted by a MAS in PROVENCE using steam to guarantee the purity and preservation of active components.

Complete distillation in a low-pressure still (with organoleptic monitoring conducted by Gaël) using steam distillation.

Should not be diffused or inhaled (irritation).
Should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
Do not use for prolonged periods without medical advice from a professional.
Store away from heat.
Close the bottle tightly after use.
Do not hesitate to perform a patch test (on the inside of the elbow) before use.
