About the Mas:
That's THE question! Lavender generally blooms from June to mid-July. However, due to the weather, the dates may vary by a few days. Don't hesitate to call us before your visit so we can inform you.
Yes! a MAS in PROVENCE welcomes you all year round, from Tuesday to Saturday in low season and from Monday to Saturday in high season. Guided tours, discovery of distillation, agricultural work, shop, and creative workshops: each season is a new opportunity to discover aromatic plants and the behind-the-scenes of our profession.
Nothing could be simpler! Opt for a comfortable outfit and some shoes suitable for the fields especially in autumn-winter. In spring and summer we also recommend cap and hat.
Our tours cover several themes: the Camargue, aromatic plants, agricultural work, the production of essential oils, distillation, and the creation of our products. The route changes according to the season, the blooms, and the weather, with a maximum of about 500 meters, punctuated by shaded areas and seating.
Children are welcome! During the visit, we will offer them to create their own lavender sachet to take home. Our guides can offer them different activities during the tour: insect hunting with our little boxes, discovering a mystery plant or chief assistant… many roles designed to learn while having fun.
We have shaded picnic tables allowing you to have your own meal. In the summer season, we also have
our brand new lavender snack, our food truck where you
can order your 100% homemade lunch.
Yes! At a MAS in PROVENCE, your pet is welcome. Dogs and cats on a leash are allowed in the shop and on guided tours! You will find a bar for dogs and cats outside.
We offer you different activities such as creative workshops to combine with your visit to make the most of your day on site. Learn to create your natural perfume, create a lavender cream, learn to braid lavender wands or get initiated to the craftsmanship of distillation !
Occitanie is full of ideas to extend your day! With family, among food lovers or nature enthusiasts, set off to discover the Old Mas, the Pont du Gard, the vineyards of Bellegarde, an olive grove, or the Cévennes, Anduze, and the Trabuc cave. Enough to create a lovely getaway around your visit to the Mas!

A propos des produits naturels
Don't panic! Just squeeze your sachet to release the essential oil contained in the lavender flowers again. The scent lasts for several years.

A hydrolate is the aromatic water obtained during the steam distillation of a plant. During distillation, two products are recovered: essential oil and hydrolate. Softer and much less concentrated than essential oil, it retains some of the aromatic molecules of the plant.
A oil macerate is obtained by macerating a plant in a vegetable oil for several weeks. Gradually, the oil absorbs the liposoluble compounds of the plant before being filtered. It is therefore neither an essential oil nor a hydrolate, but a preparation obtained by maceration.
We recommend letting it dry after each use to maintain its hardness and make it last longer.
To best preserve their aromas, infuse your plants in hot water, but not boiling.
- Lemon verbena: about 90 °C for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Lavender: about 85 to 90 °C for 5 to 7 minutes.
A little tip: cover your cup during infusion to maximize the retention of aromatic compounds and the fragrance of the plants.
An essential oil generally lasts several years (5 years after it leaves the still) if stored under good conditions: well-sealed bottle, protected from light, heat, and humidity. Over time, its scent and composition may evolve: always refer to the date indicated on the bottle.
To store your essential oil, we recommend keeping it away from light in a drawer, for example. We advise avoiding any heat source.
Yes! Our essential oils are classified for food use and are suitable for consumption up to 4 drops per day.
Essential oils cannot be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women and children under 6 years old.
