What is in my mist?
In this mist, you will find essential oils of fine lavender and lavandin.
Fine lavender is characterized by a very soft and floral scent. It has been used since antiquity for its aromatic qualities, notably by the Romans in baths and laundry. Its name comes from the Latin“lavare”, which means“to wash”, related to its use in laundry water.
Lavandin is a natural hybrid resulting from the crossing of fine lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and lavender aspic (Lavandula latifolia). Spontaneously appearing in nature, it was later widely cultivated for its aromatic qualities and yield, giving rise to the vast purple fields characteristic of the Provençal landscapes. It is distinguished by its great vigor and ability to adapt to different environments, particularly in the sunny areas of southern France. Its scent is more powerful and direct than that of fine lavender, with both floral and slightly camphoraceous notes inherited from its two origins.
