The essential oil of Aspic Lavender, in detail
A lavender shaped by the sun and the wind.
Aspic Lavender finds its roots around the Mediterranean basin, particularly in the south of France, Spain, and Italy.
The Romans already used its aromatic qualities to scent their clothes and baths.
Its name comes from the Latin "lavare", which means "to wash". The French term "lavandière" comes from the addition of lavender to laundry water to scent the clothes.
In the Middle Ages, its disinfectant properties were also exploited through fumigation.
Its uniqueness lies in its aromatic composition, particularly its eucalyptol content, which gives it a fresher, livelier, and more camphoraceous character than fine lavender.
Naturally found in the scrublands and rocky areas of southern France, particularly around the calanques, it grows as small, robust bushes adapted to dry and poor soils.

Complete distillation in a low-pressure still (with organoleptic monitoring conducted by Gaël) using steam distillation.

Close the bottle tightly after use.
Do not hesitate to perform a patch test (on the elbow) before use.
